Novi Sad University hosted this October the COST INTUF Hackathon and core group meeting.
The week started with a range of early career and senior researchers that gathered for the COST Action Hackathon to analyse the state of the art of European Urban Forest Management Plans (UFMP).
During this weeklong collaborative session, important research questions were addressed such as the extent of harmonisation among UFMP and the alignment with international policy.
Researchers employed a World Cafe group session to inform a thematic analysis, before using NVivo QDAS and ‘R’ to gain further insights. This work paves the way for an exciting project that aims to fully address the state of the art of UFMPs.
Big thanks to our fantastic hosts that also gave as the chance to visit the city parks and learn more about the management and monitoring of the urban trees in Novi Sad.
Our core group had also the opportunity to meet to work on the budget and activities for the coming grant period. New announces will come soon so stay tuned for grants and new workshops opportunities!
